Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner contest the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters final on clay, a pivotal ATP Masters 1000 showdown with World No. 1 implications—Alcaraz defends 1000 points as champion while Sinner enters with zero to defend. Both advanced convincingly, with Sinner ousting Alexander Zverev in Saturday's semifinal and Alcaraz defeating local hopeful Valentin Vacherot; earlier rounds showed symmetric dominance, including straight-set blowouts. Alcaraz leads their head-to-head 10-6 overall and holds a stronger clay record (3-1), bolstered by 10 career clay titles to Sinner's one, though Sinner's recent form signals improvement. Minor injury concerns—Alcaraz's past adductor issues, Sinner's hip niggles—persist but haven't hindered progress, setting up a closely contested matchup on the slow Monte Carlo courts.
