Borna Gojo enters as trader consensus favorite in this Oeiras 3 Challenger first-round clash on clay, fueled by his red-hot 2026 form including Challenger titles in Morelia last week (defeating Juan Pablo Ficovich in the final) and Metepec, plus deep runs in Cleveland and Cherbourg, propelling him to No. 138. Rei Sakamoto, the 19-year-old No. 165 (career-high 157 in February), shows promise with a maiden ATP win in Miami but recent losses like to Luca Van Assche in Monza temper expectations. No head-to-head history; Gojo's momentum and experience edge out Sakamoto's youth amid mild Portuguese spring conditions and no reported injuries.
