Mikhail Kukushkin enters as the trader-favored pick at 65.5% implied probability in his Murcia Challenger clash against Roberto Carballes Baena, driven primarily by his superior recent clay-court form, including straight-set wins over higher-ranked foes in earlier rounds. The 37-year-old veteran boasts a 4-1 record over the past two weeks on the surface, contrasting Carballes Baena's uneven results with a recent quarterfinal exit and no reported injuries for either. Head-to-head favors Kukushkin 2-1, including a clay win last year, while his experience tempers the Spaniard's home-crowd edge and slight ranking advantage (No. 95 vs. No. 120). Momentum and matchup dynamics underpin the market's tilt toward the Kazakh.
