Hamad Medjedovic enters as the 66.5% implied probability favorite against Nuno Borges in the Barcelona Open quarterfinals, fueled by his straight-sets upset over higher-ranked Alex de Minaur in the round of 16, marking his biggest ATP Tour win and extending a four-of-five match winning streak including qualifiers on clay. The 22-year-old Serb, ranked No. 88, has shown sharp baseline play and improved clay adaptation, with no recent injury concerns despite past issues. Borges, No. 52, reached his career-best ATP 500 quarterfinal by downing clay specialist Tomas Martin Etcheverry, but lacks head-to-head edge and faces a momentum-driven opponent on the slower Barcelona surface, where trader consensus reflects Medjedovic's fresher form and upset potential realized.
