Santiago Rodriguez Taverna enters as the clear favorite on the clay courts of the Asuncion Challenger, buoyed by his higher ranking (around No. 450) and stronger recent form with three straight wins, including a quarterfinal run last week. Luciano Emanuel Ambrogi, ranked outside the top 800, struggles on clay with a 1-4 record over his past five matches and no notable victories against top-500 foes. No injuries reported for either via official ATP updates, but Taverna's superior serve hold percentage (78% on clay YTD) and head-to-head edge (1-0 in limited meetings) underpin trader consensus leaning 75% toward him. Upcoming factors include potential weather delays in humid Asuncion and Ambrogi's fatigue from qualifiers.
