Valentin Vacherot, the No. 23-ranked Monegasque enjoying home-crowd support at Monte Carlo Country Club, carries momentum from a career-high breakthrough on hard courts, including a third-round run at Indian Wells and reaching the Miami last 16 by upsetting Matteo Berrettini before falling to Arthur Fils. Facing him in this ATP Masters 1000 clay-court opener is No. 53 Kamil Majchrzak, who arrives sharper on the surface after a round-of-16 exit at last week's Marrakech ATP 250, defeating Juan Manuel Cerundolo en route. With no head-to-head history, traders weigh Vacherot's ranking edge and local boost against Majchrzak's recent clay form and rest advantage, amid typical spring Mediterranean conditions favoring baseline grinders.
