Afghanistan holds a narrow edge in trader consensus for the rescheduled three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, reflecting balanced recent form and conditions expected in the UAE. Afghanistan’s spin-heavy attack, anchored by experienced operators and supported by all-round depth, aligns well with slower pitches that have historically rewarded their style, while their top order has shown improved consistency in limited-overs cricket. Sri Lanka counters with greater overall experience in the 50-over format and proven middle-order resilience, though recent results indicate vulnerability to quality spin and occasional top-order fragility. Both sides enter with comparable recent momentum from preparatory matches and A-team fixtures, creating limited separation in implied probabilities. Key variables that could shift sentiment include final squad confirmations, especially around frontline spinners and opening batters, pitch reports closer to the revised dates, and any late fitness updates that alter playing XI balance.

This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/.
DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins.
If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution.
