This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 BMW PGA Championship. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 BMW PGA Championship is cancelled, or postponed after October 4, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).**The closely balanced 51% implied probability on No for an albatross at the 2026 BMW PGA Championship reflects the extreme rarity of the shot against multiple reachable par-5 opportunities at Wentworth's West Course.** The layout features four par-5s (notably the 552-yard fourth, 520-yard 12th, 610-yard 17th, and 523-yard 18th), where elite distance from players like Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm can set up long approaches, yet converting a holed second shot remains statistically uncommon. Historical precedent shows just four albatrosses in event history, with the most recent in 2019, underscoring how course demands, pin positions, and wind can suppress outcomes even in a strong DP World Tour field. Recent form, firm conditions, or any late adjustments to setup could shift sentiment by altering approach distances or scoring averages on those holes.
