This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 Irish Open. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 Irish Open is cancelled, or postponed after September 27, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).The Amgen Irish Open at Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg features a strong 138-player field led by defending champion Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Shane Lowry on a firm links layout measuring roughly 7,026 yards at par 72. Windy Atlantic conditions and the course's dune-lined par fives create a narrow window for an albatross, as players must reach those holes in two shots and convert from long range amid variable lies and gusts. Recent arrivals have encountered wet, blustery weather that further complicates distance control and approach precision. With four rounds ahead and multiple par-five opportunities per round, the volume of attempts from elite ball-strikers balances the inherent rarity of the shot, leaving implied probability evenly split between traders. Shifts could arise from calmer conditions, firmer greens favoring run-up approaches, or standout performances by long hitters in the field.
