Recent forecasts from models including GFS and ECMWF indicate Beijing will see mostly clear skies, light southwesterly winds, and low humidity on September 11, supporting afternoon highs near 31–32°C as a warm air mass lingers. This places the market’s near-even split between 32°C (46.5%) and 31°C (39.5%) in line with minor differences in peak heating and boundary-layer mixing across ensemble runs. Historical September averages hover around 27–28°C, so current conditions represent above-normal warmth without strong synoptic forcing to push extremes higher or lower. Official China Meteorological Administration readings, which resolve the market, will incorporate localized urban effects and precise maximum timing. Traders appear to weigh the consensus central tendency while discounting low-probability outliers such as 33°C or below 30°C.
