This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the London City Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 19 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the London City Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus favors 16°C (37.5%) and 15°C (29.0%) for London's highest temperature on April 19, reflecting the latest Met Office and BBC Weather forecasts showing sunny intervals with light winds and peaks of 16-17°C. This positioning stems from a weakening high-pressure ridge post-early April's record 26.5°C heat in Kew Gardens, ushering cooler northwesterly to northerly flows moderating daytime maxima above the April climatological average of 13-14°C. Differentiating factors include ensemble model spread—ECMWF and GFS runs varying on cloud cover and solar heating potential—with fuller sun pushing toward 17°C (17.5%) and thicker cloud capping at 15°C. New Met Office updates expected overnight and Saturday morning will clarify as short-range uncertainty narrows.
