AS leads trader expectations for the October 3 Saeima election, reflecting its position as the largest coalition partner under Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs and consistent gains in recent SKDS polling, where support has climbed above 20 percent. The party's regionalist and green-conservative platform benefits from incumbency visibility and coalition stability following the May 2026 government transition. SV and LPV trail as the main challengers, drawing on populist and nationalist appeals amid voter fragmentation, while PRO, NA, and smaller lists remain marginal in current surveys. Traders price these probabilities based on the narrow window before early voting begins in late September and the 5 percent threshold dynamics that favor established lists.
