This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 American League Championship Series. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 American League Championship Series per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 American League Championship Series is cancelled, postponed after November 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight 2026 AL pennant race stems primarily from the Rays' league-best 87-58 record and four-game lead over the Yankees in the AL East, offset by New York's superior +124 run differential and recent 7-3 stretch. These factors keep the two clubs' implied probabilities nearly identical, as traders weigh Tampa Bay's division edge against New York's overall strength and head-to-head history. Boston, Chicago, and Houston occupy playoff positions but trail in win totals and roster depth, while Cleveland and Texas remain within striking distance of wild-card spots amid a crowded field. Late-season form, injury reports, and remaining schedule strength continue to shape consensus around these frontrunners.
