In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Aaron Judge's rib stress fracture, sidelining him for weeks, has reshaped the 2026 AL MVP market by ending his early dominance and elevating contenders. Bobby Witt Jr. leads via consistent power-speed production and strong on-base metrics for the Royals, while Yordan Alvarez sits close behind with elite slugging, high home run totals, and an OPS exceeding 1.070 for the Astros. Young standouts Ben Rice and Nick Kurtz trail with breakout contributions that keep the field bunched. Traders price the race tightly around these early-season statistical edges and roster health, with no single player pulling away decisively.
