This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter that Petr Yan is officially announced to face in a UFC bout. Resolution for this market will be based on the next UFC fighter that Petr Yan is officially announced to fight, regardless of whether the fight ends up taking place. Only official announcements from the UFC, which include a scheduled date for the bout, will count. Announcements with no date or which do not confirm that the fight is official, speculation, or other unofficial announcements will not count. If Yan is officially announced to fight any non-listed fighter or no qualifying announcement is made by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/).Petr Yan’s December 2025 decision victory over Merab Dvalishvili to reclaim the UFC bantamweight title has established the trilogy bout as the dominant consensus outcome among traders. Yan’s subsequent back surgery has kept him out until at least summer 2026, aligning with reports that a rubber match could be targeted for October. Dvalishvili has repeatedly stated he wants to fight the best available opponent and settle the series, while Yan has signaled eagerness to return against his most recent rival. Sean O’Malley sits a distant second because of his prior title reign and expressed willingness to wait for a Yan rematch, though the immediate post-surgery timeline favors the Dvalishvili trilogy first. Lower-probability names reflect standard divisional matchmaking options without confirmed negotiations or recent momentum shifts.
