The eight-episode Food Network series, which premiered May 12 with 12 chefs facing island survival challenges and beachside cooking under limited resources for a $100,000 prize, has seen early team and gauntlet eliminations that have not dented his standing. Secondary contenders Stephen Kina at 23.4% and James Peck at 10.3% trail amid the field’s gradual attrition, while lower-priced names like Paulette Tejada and Ara Zada remain long shots pending further individual rounds and judge feedback from Marcus Samuelsson, Maneet Chauhan, and Gabe Bertaccini.
