The inaugural World Star Challengers Invitational brings 16 Tier 2 League of Legends squads from LCK CL, LDL, EMEA Masters, PCS, VCS, LJL, and the Americas into a single bracket for the first time, with Dplus KIA Challengers entering as Asia Masters champions. Group-stage double round-robin best-of-ones followed by single-elimination best-of-fives reward adaptability over regional dominance, while recent qualification results from each ecosystem show balanced talent pools without a clear international frontrunner. Cross-region scouting remains limited, roster turnover in academy systems is high, and the compressed September 20–October 2 schedule offers little margin for early missteps, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered around 50 percent across the field.
