Top-seeded Mirra Andreeva, ranked No. 10 with a 14-6 record this season including an Adelaide title, advanced to the Upper Austria Ladies Linz final on indoor clay by dominating Elena-Gabriela Ruse 6-4, 6-1 in Saturday's semifinal, extending her tournament straight-sets streak past Sorana Cirstea and Sloane Stephens. She holds a 2-1 head-to-head edge over finalist Anastasia Potapova, including a 6-2, 7-5 US Open win last year, though their meetings were on hardcourts. Potapova, now representing Austria at No. 97 with a 7-8 ledger, dismantled Donna Vekic in straight sets for the semis after ousting Lilli Tagger, riding home-crowd momentum as a former Linz champion amid her resurgent run. No injury concerns reported; stylistic matchup favors Andreeva's baseline power, but Potapova's aggression could exploit any clay adaptation issues.
