Milwaukee Brewers hold a seven-game lead over the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central standings with a 46-29 record compared to Chicago’s 40-37 mark. Brewers left-hander Kyle Harrison (8-1, 2.50 ERA) is slated to face Cubs right-hander Colin Rea in the June 26 matchup at American Family Field, giving Milwaukee a clear edge in the probable pitching matchup. The Brewers enter after a dominant 9-4 victory over Atlanta on June 21, while Chicago continues to navigate multiple pitching injuries, including Jameson Taillon’s placement on the 15-day IL. Home-field advantage and Milwaukee’s superior recent form and bullpen depth shape trader consensus around the series outcome.
