Trader consensus on the 2026 US Open men's winner closely splits between world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz (39%) and No. 1 Jannik Sinner (35%), reflecting their unrivaled dominance amid a transitional ATP landscape. Sinner's fresh Monte Carlo Masters triumph last week—edging Alcaraz in the final to reclaim the top ranking—bolstered his hardcourt credentials after Miami victory, yet Alcaraz's Australian Open title in February, completing his career Grand Slam as the youngest ever, underscores his explosive baseline game suited to Flushing Meadows' faster hardcourt surface. Novak Djokovic's ongoing shoulder issues, prompting Miami and early Monte Carlo withdrawals, cap him at 5.7%, while risers like Jiri Lehecka gain from recent upsets but trail the elite duo's consistency, head-to-head edge, and US Open pedigree. With North American swing ahead, the race stays razor-tight pending injury reports and form through French Open.
