In the BMW Open quarterfinals on Munich's outdoor clay, fourth-seeded Flavio Cobolli faces Vit Kopriva, with trader consensus reflecting Cobolli's recent dominance—straight-sets demolitions of qualifier Diego Dedura and Zizou Bergs (6-2, 6-3) in the first two rounds—bolstered by his strong clay form earlier at Monte-Carlo. Kopriva, however, advanced via gritty comeback wins, including a 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 reversal over Luciano Darderi, holding a perfect 2-0 head-to-head edge over Cobolli from prior clay meetings. No injuries reported; baseline rallies and endurance could favor the Czech's defensive style amid mild spring conditions, with a semifinal berth against top seeds like Zverev looming.
