The Austrian Bundesliga's 2026-27 runner-up race remains tightly bunched due to heightened league parity following LASK's 2025-26 title breakthrough and Red Bull Salzburg's extended drought. Early matchday results show LASK atop the table with strong attacking output, while Sturm Graz, Rapid Wien, and Salzburg sit close behind amid solid defensive records and favorable home/away splits. Pre-season squad stability at clubs like Wolfsberger AC and Austria Wien, combined with managerial continuity at Sturm Graz under Ingolitsch, has sustained broad trader consensus around even implied probabilities. Historical head-to-head trends and the split-format playoff structure further dilute any single frontrunner, leaving realistic paths for several sides to finish second depending on form consistency and European commitments.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
