The Croatian HNL runner-up race sits in a tight cluster because Dinamo Zagreb’s expected dominance leaves the battle for second wide open among a balanced group of clubs. Early 2026-27 results show Varaždin, Osijek, Hajduk Split, and Rijeka trading strong starts with similar points and goal differences, while mid-table sides like Slaven Belupo and Lokomotiva have mixed records that keep their chances alive. Recent transfer activity, squad depth, and inconsistent European campaign outcomes have prevented any single challenger from pulling clear, with head-to-head history and home/away splits offering limited separation at this stage. Trader consensus therefore reflects broad parity rather than a clear hierarchy behind the league leaders.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Croatian HNL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Croatian HNL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Croatian HNL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
