In the Tallahassee Challenger round of 16 on green clay, fourth-seeded Daniil Glinka (ATP 177) meets American Darwin Blanch (ATP 246) following straight-sets wins in the first round—Glinka defeating Stefan Dostanic 6-2, 7-6(3) on Tuesday and Blanch rallying past similarly ranked Daniel Elahi Galan 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. Blanch holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge from their Knoxville Challenger semifinal last November on indoor hard, showcasing his aggressive lefty game against Glinka's one-handed backhand style. Glinka's higher ranking and seeding provide an edge on clay, but Blanch's recent upset momentum, home-crowd support in Florida, and youth (18) fuel a competitive trader consensus, with stylistic matchup and surface speed as key variables.
