Rafael Jodar enters the Barcelona Open quarterfinal with strong trader consensus support after extending his eight-match winning streak, including a straight-sets defeat of Camilo Ugo Carabelli and his prior 6-3, 6-2 upset over Cameron Norrie in Acapulco this February. The 19-year-old Spaniard, riding a career-high No. 55 ranking and recent Marrakech title, benefits from home-crowd energy on clay at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. Norrie, the British No. 1 at No. 24, advanced via gritty three-set win over Ethan Quinn following his first-round dismissal of Stan Wawrinka, leveraging his lefty game and tactical depth against Jodar's power, though no injuries are reported for either ahead of Friday's clash.
