Trader consensus heavily backs "None" at 89.5% implied probability for a men's Calendar Grand Slam in 2026—the first since Rod Laver's 1969 Open Era outlier—due to the punishing sequence of Australian Open hard courts, French Open clay, Wimbledon grass, and US Open hard courts in best-of-five sets, compounded by injury and fatigue risks. Carlos Alcaraz holds 10.8% as the sole 2026 major winner after defeating Novak Djokovic for his maiden AO title in February, completing the Career Grand Slam at age 22 and proving versatility across surfaces. However, his recent right wrist injury withdrawal from Barcelona and Monte Carlo Masters final loss to Jannik Sinner on clay heighten doubts for the remaining Slams; an upset-free, healthy sweep remains the narrow path forward.
