Recent forecasts from global and regional models indicate mostly sunny conditions over Wuhan on September 8, supporting daily highs near 33–34°C under moderate easterly flow and low precipitation chances. Slight differences in predicted cloud cover, boundary-layer mixing, and surface solar radiation explain the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 33°C, 34°C, and 35°C, as small changes in these variables can shift peak readings by 1–2°C. Historical September baselines near 29–30°C underscore the current warm anomaly, while traders weigh the limited remaining model-update window before resolution.
