The Washington Nationals hold a narrow edge in total home runs through mid-August 2026, paced by consistent power from their lineup, but the New York Yankees trail closely behind with strong contributions from key sluggers. The Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros sit just a handful behind, while other contenders maintain realistic paths through favorable remaining schedules, park factors, and lineup health. This narrow spread across multiple clubs reflects balanced offensive production league-wide, with no dominant frontrunner pulling away and late-season surges or injuries capable of shifting the order in the final weeks.
