Inter Miami CF and Los Angeles FC share slim leads in the MLS Cup 2026 market at 16% and 15% implied probabilities, driven by their pedigree and hot early-season form after seven matchweeks, but a first LAFC loss to Portland Timbers (2-1 on April 11) has tightened the race amid league parity. Defending 2025 champions Inter Miami sit third in the Eastern Conference standings with 13 goals scored, anchored by Lionel Messi's attacking prowess despite a recent 2-2 draw versus New York Red Bulls. LAFC's prior unbeaten streak featured zero goals conceded and 15 tallied before the setback, underscoring defensive solidity. Vancouver Whitecaps top power rankings with a league-high 19 goals, while Nashville SC leads the East on 16 points and +11 goal difference, fueling a crowded Supporters' Shield pursuit where nine playoff spots per conference keep multiple contenders viable through the 34-game regular season and knockout playoffs.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 MLS Cup per the rules of MLS (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
