Kent enters the July 10 T20 Blast South Group clash at Canterbury off a dominant eight-wicket win over Surrey at The Oval in late May, chasing 117 inside 14 overs behind half-centuries from Harry Finch and Sam Billings plus three wickets from Jake Lintott. Surrey sit second in the group with five wins from nine outings and a positive NRR, while Kent sit fourth after 10 games despite recent victories over Middlesex and Sussex. Home conditions at St Lawrence Ground and Kent’s middle-order depth could offset Surrey’s stronger overall standing and greater experience in high-pressure T20 fixtures. Both sides still have multiple games remaining before quarter-final qualification is decided.
