This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong's commanding position in the NL Platinum Glove market stems from his elite center-field defense for the Cubs, where advanced metrics such as Outs Above Average, Defensive Runs Saved, and catch conversion rates rank at or near the top of the league through early August. Building on his 2025 Gold Glove recognition, the 24-year-old has posted elite range, arm strength, and positioning in a demanding Wrigley outfield while appearing in over 100 games. Traders see his combination of statistical dominance and prior hardware as the clearest path to the award, determined via fan voting and the SABR Defensive Index among Gold Glove finalists. Late injuries, a sharp drop in metrics during the final two months, or an exceptional finish from contenders such as Jared Triolo or Matt Chapman represent the primary scenarios that could shift the outcome.
