In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.JJ Wetherholt leads trader consensus for NL Rookie of the Year at 59.5% implied probability after a standout 2026 debut with the Cardinals. Through roughly 100 games, the infielder has posted a .251/.348/.393 slash line with 16 home runs, 41 RBIs, 12 stolen bases, and elite defense that tops MLB in outs above average. His 4.2 fWAR ranks among the league's best, driven by consistent production at the top of the lineup and strong baserunning. Sal Stewart trails at 26.5% amid solid but less dominant numbers for the Reds, while pitchers like Nolan McLean sit lower due to smaller sample sizes and fewer overall wins above replacement. Wetherholt's combination of hitting, fielding, and durability has solidified his position as the clear market leader.
