This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Yoshinobu Yamamoto's scorching early-season dominance, including a 7.2-inning gem with seven strikeouts against the Mets on April 15 and a 2.10 ERA through four starts (2-1 record), has propelled him to the top of NL Cy Young trader consensus at 33% implied probability, edging defending winner Paul Skenes (25.5%) after the Pirates ace's disastrous Opening Day meltdown (0.2 IP, five earned runs). Freddy Peralta and Jesus Luzardo lurk close at 17-18% with efficient outings and favorable rotations ahead, while Cristopher Sanchez (14%) and Shohei Ohtani's pitching return (13.5%) add depth to a bunched field. With innings leaders still emerging, health, WHIP sustainability, and schedule strength will dictate this wide-open race over 30+ starts.
