This positioning gives him a substantial edge heading into the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, where the top 70 compete before progressive cuts to the BMW Championship and Tour Championship at East Lake. Rory McIlroy’s return boosts the field’s depth, while players like Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele remain viable contenders thanks to strong recent form and the format’s emphasis on playoff performance over regular-season totals. The bunched probabilities reflect a wide-open postseason where momentum, course fit, and health can rapidly shift outcomes among a talented group.
