Nicole Gadient and Laura Boehner meet in the first round of the ITF W15 Focsani on outdoor clay, with both players holding low WTA rankings in the 1000s and limited recent success at this level. Gadient, the 27-year-old Swiss right-hander, enters with a 7-8 record in 2026 while Boehner, the 24-year-old German, sits at 6-9. Their lone prior meeting dates to 2020 on hard courts, where Gadient prevailed convincingly. Clay-court form, recent match fitness, and any last-minute adjustments to the draw or player availability will shape outcomes in this closely matched early-round encounter.
