Marie Villet enters this W15 Kayseri second-round match on hard courts with stronger recent momentum, having advanced through qualifying and early rounds with straight-set victories including a 6-4, 6-1 win over Yoana Konstantinova. The 29-year-old French player holds a WTA ranking near 850 and leads the head-to-head 1-0 against Doga Turkmen from their 2023 encounter. Turkmen, a 23-year-old Turkish competitor ranked outside the top 1,000, has shown inconsistent results on the ITF circuit this spring despite home-country support in Kayseri. Surface preference, recent match volume, and physical freshness on the outdoor hard courts represent the primary variables that could influence the outcome in this lower-tier professional event.
