The Yankees enter the three-game series at Yankee Stadium with the stronger record (around 42-27) and home advantage, supported by Gerrit Cole's recent starts and deeper rotation options despite scattered injuries like Jasson Dominguez. The White Sox (37-31/32), leading the AL Central, rely on Davis Martin and Anthony Kay in the early matchups but face roster challenges including Munetaka Murakami's hamstring strain and multiple bullpen absences on the 15- and 60-day IL. Recent form shows both clubs competitive in June, with the White Sox coming off a split against the Dodgers; road performance, bullpen stability, and how lineups handle Yankee Stadium's dimensions will shape outcomes in these AL East-Central contests.
