This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MSFT/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.Microsoft (MSFT) shares surged 7% during the week of April 13, closing at $411.22 on April 15 after a 4.61% daily gain on elevated volume of 45 million shares, rebounding from the $384.37 April 13 close amid a Nasdaq-led tech rally and risk-on sentiment boosted by signals of U.S.-Iran de-escalation. This follows a 30% drawdown from 2025 highs, driven by earlier concerns over AI capex margins and growth deceleration, though Azure revenue trends remain robust. Trader consensus prices in continued momentum through Friday's close, with key risks from broader market volatility or sector news; Q3 fiscal 2026 earnings on April 29 loom as the primary catalyst, with analysts forecasting EPS growth to $16.46 annually on cloud expansion.
