The 2026 FBS receiving touchdowns race remains wide open early in the season, with trader consensus clustered tightly around dozens of wide receivers and tight ends due to the depth of talent and inherent volatility of the category. Standouts like Illinois senior Collin Dixon (7 TDs through three games), Rutgers' KJ Duff, and Indiana's Charlie Becker have posted strong starts, yet no player has separated meaningfully after limited sample sizes. High-upside options such as Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith, Miami's Malachi Toney, Texas' Cam Coleman and Ryan Wingo, and others including Cam Coleman, Bryant Wesco Jr., and Beau Sparks enter with strong pedigrees, target shares, and quarterback play that could accelerate production. Schedule strength, red-zone usage, and injury resilience will likely determine the leader over the remaining slate.
