Recent polls ahead of Sweden's September 13, 2026, Riksdag election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 32%, followed by the Sweden Democrats in second at roughly 20% and the Moderates third near 17%. This positioning has held steady across multiple surveys through July, reflecting limited movement in voter preferences during the summer campaign period. The Sweden Democrats' consistent second-place standing stems from sustained support among key voter blocs on immigration and security issues, while the Moderates have seen modest erosion within the Tidö-aligned bloc. With the election weeks away and no major late shifts in bloc dynamics or turnout indicators, traders price the Sweden Democrats as the strong consensus choice for second place.
