Coinbase Global (COIN) shares have come under pressure following the July 30 release of weaker-than-expected Q2 2026 results, which showed an adjusted operating loss of $0.39 per share against consensus estimates for a $0.14 profit amid softer transaction revenues. The stock closed July 31 at $146.26 after touching a session low near $139, its weakest levels in roughly 2.5 years, reflecting reduced trading volumes and crypto market sensitivity. With shares trading well below the $402 52-week high and a market capitalization around $40 billion, sentiment remains anchored to Bitcoin price action, broader equity risk appetite, and any shifts in monetary policy expectations that could influence digital-asset flows heading into the August 3 week.
