Detroit Tigers carry momentum into the series finale against the Kansas City Royals at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park, riding a five-game winning streak capped by Wenceel Pérez's go-ahead eighth-inning homer in yesterday's 2-1 victory. Keider Montero (1-1, 1.74 ERA) starts for Detroit, showcasing early-season dominance at home, opposed by Royals' Kris Bubic (2-1, 2.50 ERA), who has limited damage effectively. Kansas City OF Isaac Collins exited Tuesday's game early with a right knee contusion and remains questionable, thinning their outfield depth amid ongoing offensive struggles in this low-scoring set. Both AL Central clubs sit near .440 win percentage through 16-17 games, with Tigers' 5-1 home mark and bullpen stability bolstering trader consensus on a tight, pitching duel.
