Reds hold a 2-0 series lead over the Giants after a 2-1 opener and an 8-3 win fueled by rookie Sal Stewart's two 3-run homers and 6 RBIs, positioning Cincinnati (11-7, tied for NL Central lead) to sweep the slumping San Francisco squad (6-12, 7.5 games back in NL West, L4). Probable starters Landen Roupp (2-1, 3.24 ERA for Giants) and Chase Burns (1-1, 3.31 ERA for Reds) enter with comparable early-season effectiveness amid Great American Ball Park's hitter-friendly confines (72°F, mild winds). Giants' outfield depth suffers from Harrison Bader and Jared Oliva on the 10-day IL, while Reds catcher Jose Trevino (10-day IL) and starter Nick Lodolo (15-day IL) remain sidelined, tilting trader focus toward home momentum and bullpen health in this closely contested finale.
