This market will resolve according to the player who steals the most bases during the 2026 Major League Baseball regular season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by the rules of the MLB. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve in favor of the player that records fewer caught stealings during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player with the higher on base percentage during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, then this market will resolve in favor of the player that records more total bases during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Nasim Nuñez holds a commanding lead in the 2026 MLB stolen bases race with roughly 46 steals through early September, well ahead of Chandler Simpson’s approximately 41.** Nuñez, primarily with the Washington Nationals, has posted the highest volume and per-game rate (around 0.34 SB/G) among qualifiers, capitalizing on frequent opportunities in the lineup and strong success rates on attempts. The remaining schedule offers limited games for challengers to close the gap, reinforcing trader consensus around his implied probability exceeding 80%. Simpson of the Rays has maintained steady production with elite contact skills and speed but trails by a margin that would require an unusually aggressive final stretch to overcome. Mid-tier contenders including Bobby Witt Jr., Jazz Chisholm Jr., Pete Crow-Armstrong, José Caballero, and CJ Abrams sit in the low-to-mid 30s or below, facing steeper deficits and fewer remaining contests. Official MLB tracking through the regular-season close on or around September 28 will determine the outright leader, with Nuñez’s established edge and minimal late volatility shaping the current market positioning.
