VALORANT Champions 2026 opens its group stage on September 24 in Shanghai with 16 teams divided into four GSL-style groups of four, where all matches are best-of-three and only the top two squads per group advance to double-elimination playoffs. Recent VCT Stage 2 results heavily shape expectations, including Karmine Corp’s EMEA title run after a mid-season coaching change, 100 Thieves and LOUD claiming Americas playoff spots, and Pacific standouts like Paper Rex and Global Esports securing qualification via points or direct finishes. Defending champions NRG, alongside G2, TYLOO, and EDward Gaming, enter with strong Championship Points pedigrees, while absences such as Fnatic and Sentinels open paths for regional risers. Roster stability, map pool depth, and opening matchups against lower seeds will determine early momentum before the September 30–October 4 elimination and decider rounds.

The Group Stage (September 24 to October 4, 2026) consists of four four-team double-elimination (GSL) groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the eight-team Playoffs (October 7 to October 18, 2026). A team is considered to have qualified for the Playoffs once it is officially confirmed as one of the Playoffs participants, regardless of its subsequent Playoffs results. If a team qualifies and later withdraws or is replaced, this market will still resolve to "Yes" for that team.
If the Group Stage format or the number of Playoffs qualifiers is changed, this market will resolve according to the teams that officially advance to the Playoffs stage under the format actually used.
If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled, postponed after November 1, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the Playoffs participants have not been officially determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2026/Champions) may also be used.
