This market refers to the table tennis match between Canada and South Korea in a WTT event, scheduled for May 4 at 2:30PM ET. This market will resolve to 'Canada' if Canada wins against South Korea. This market will resolve to 'Korea' if South Korea wins against Canada. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.Trader consensus prices Canada's win at 50% in this closely contested WTT Women's Singles matchup against South Korea amid the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026, reflecting Korea Republic's uncharacteristic Stage 1a struggles—losses to Chinese Taipei (Shin Yu-bin dropped two matches), Romania, and China—exposing vulnerabilities despite higher ITTF rankings like Kim Na-yeong and Park Gah-yeon. Canada's squad, led by Mo Zhang (WR #57), advanced from Stage 1b Group 7 with 3-0 sweeps over Sri Lanka and Costa Rica before a competitive 2-3 defeat to Sweden, signaling resilience in lower-stakes fixtures. Key factors include player form (Zhang's recent group wins), head-to-head favoring Korea historically, and lineup confirmations; an upset by Canada's shakehand attacker or Korean fatigue from a grueling top-group schedule could shift probabilities.
