Amazon (AMZN) shares rallied sharply last week after CEO Andy Jassy outlined ambitious AI investments and AWS growth strategies on April 9, driving the stock from a $233.65 close to an April 14 intraday high of $252.18 before settling at $248.50 on April 15. Trading around $248.55 intraday on April 16, the closely contested market-implied odds—30.5% for $245-$250, 28.1% for >$255, 27.5% for $250-$255, and 26.5% for $240-$245—reflect trader consensus on consolidation near current levels amid robust AWS demand outpacing e-commerce headwinds like recent seller ad policy backlash. Key differentiators include AWS's accelerating 24% revenue growth from AI workloads versus retail margin pressures, with Q1 earnings on April 29 as the pivotal near-term catalyst potentially breaking the deadlock.

If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.
If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution.
If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price.
In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.
The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied.
The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices."
