Nastasja Schunk enters the ITF W75 Caserta clay-court match against Mina Hodzic with solid recent form on the surface, highlighted by her title run at the W35 Klagenfurt event in late May where she secured multiple straight-set victories. Hodzic, ranked slightly higher at WTA 398 compared to Schunk’s 434, brings consistent ITF experience and notched a straight-sets win over Valeriya Strakhova in Caserta qualifying. Both German players compete at a comparable level in lower-tier events, with outcomes often hinging on current match fitness, serve consistency on clay, and any late adjustments to the draw or player availability ahead of the June 4 encounter.
