Dalila Spiteri holds the ranking edge at No. 301 over 20-year-old Francesca Pace at No. 376 heading into their second-round clash on clay at the ITF W75 Caserta. The Italian veteran brings more ITF experience and a stronger recent record on the surface, though her form has been mixed with several close three-set matches. Pace, a rising junior-to-pro transition player, has shown competitive results in lower-tier events this spring but faces a significant step up in opposition. Both players share a preference for clay, with no prior head-to-head meeting on record, leaving surface-specific adjustments and current physical condition as primary variables for the outcome.
