Both Croatian players enter the WTT Contender Zagreb 2026 round-of-32 matchup with closely matched profiles that underpin the even 50% implied probability for Pucar. Pucar, ranked around world No. 29 with prior titles and notable wins over higher-profile opponents, offers greater experience at this level, yet Zeljko has posted consistent results across recent WTT feeders and contenders, including multiple main-draw advances. Shared nationality, similar training environments, and limited direct head-to-head data further compress the gap, while indoor conditions and best-of-five format reward whoever maintains spin variation and serve consistency on the day. Late adjustments to preparation or any unexpected fatigue from the event schedule could quickly shift momentum in either direction.
